Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards 2023 selected Mandatum’s fund as the best in Europe in its category.
The Mandatum Nordic High Yield Total Return Fund, which invests in Nordic high yield corporate bonds, received the 2023 Europe Refinitiv Lipper Award for Best Fund over 3 years in the Bond Europe High Yield category. There were 28 funds nominated in this category. The prestigious Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards are granted annually and highlight funds that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers.

The Mandatum Nordic High Yield Total Return Fund was established in 2014 and primarily invests in the bonds of Nordic companies, which are rated high yield or have no official credit rating. Mandatum Asset Management acts as the portfolio manager of the fund.
“A strategy focused on the Nordic markets requires a lot of work in terms of, for example, target company selection, risk-return optimization and liquidity management. We have invested heavily in these areas in recent years with our experienced portfolio management team. Nordic corporate bonds still offer very competitive returns, and sustainability is strongly present in the Nordic market today.
